This morning the Father stirred me from sleep with the chimes of the bellbird in our neighbour’s tree. Then I pulled back the bedroom curtain and he presented me with three peach coloured roses (my favourite rose) knocking against the window pane.
Ah, what rich gifts the Father lavishes upon me! Bellbird song. Peach coloured roses in the winter from bushes planted years before by somebody else. But why should I be surprised? His word says:
“As for the rich in this world, charge them not to be proud and arrogant and contemptuous of others, nor to set their hope on uncertain riches, but on God, Who richly and unceasingly provides us with everything for (our) enjoyment.” 1 Timothy 6:17 Amplified Bible
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” James 1:17
What rich gifts has our Father in Heaven bestowed upon you today?
