“He who has My word, let him speak my word faithfully.

What is chaff to the wheat?” says the LORD.

“Is not My word like a fire?” says the LORD

“And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?”

Jeremiah 23:28b-29

 Father in heaven, thank You that there has not failed one word of all your good promises. Thank You that You watch over Your word to perform it and Your word does not return to You void but accomplishes all that You send it to do. Thank You that in Your promises You speak to us individually as if we could hear Your voice.

 Please teach us how to persist in speaking Your word over our circumstances, fears and problems. Perhaps we have become weary and discouraged in doing this without seeing the desired outcome. If so, remind us that every single blow of a hammer is needed to break a rock. We may be just one blow away from the breakthrough.

We pray in the name of Jesus, whose name is called The Word of God. Amen

For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,

And do not return there,

But water the earth,

And make it bring forth and bud,

That it may give seed to the sower

And bread to the eater,

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;

It shall not return to Me void (margin = empty, without fruit),

But it shall accomplish what I please,

And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.      Isaiah 55:10-11
