Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who called you is faithful, who will also do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:23- 24.

Father in heaven, we worship You, the One and only faithful God, who is able to do through Christ living in us, what we are unable to do ourselves. He alone is our righteousness.

We pause to turn our eyes away from ourselves and our circumstances and we lift them up to You. Thank You that whatever challenges we are going through right now, or ever will go through, You are faithfully watching over us, Your ears are open to our cry, and You are making a way of escape so that we may be able to bear them.

Sometimes we make our own way of escape from the pressures of life and find ourselves in a pit. Perhaps we are in the pit even now. If so, we cry out to You for deliverance.

We declare with confidence and peace that You, who began a good work in us, will faithfully carry it on to completion until Jesus comes again.

We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen
