The Battle is God's

You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the LORD, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem! Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the LORD is with you. 2 Chronicles 20:17

Father in heaven, thank You for this promise and all the Bible records of how You came through for Your people in impossible situations. We pause and remember that You are El Elyon- the Extremely-Exalted, Sovereign, High God.

We stand still and quietly rest in the knowledge that whatever our present situation or concerns You are God – all knowing, all powerful and always present with us. You hear our cry and are working on our behalf even when we can’t discern this.

We stand on Your promises, clothed fully in the armour of the righteousness and merits of Christ alone, ready for whatever battle we face today. Thank You that in Him we fight from victory, not for victory. In His name we pray. Amen

God is our refuge and strength,

A very present help in trouble.

I will be exalted in the earth!

God shall send forth His mercy and his truth.

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:57-58
