Giving Thanks Always For All Things

Do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, sing and making melody in your hearts to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:18-20

Father in heaven, we worship and praise you with grateful hearts as we pause to remember the all in Your word which You have done for us by, through and in Your Son Jesus. So we speak these promises back to You:

Thank You Your word says: If we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:7-9

Thank You for Your word which says:

Bless the LORD, O my soul,

And forget not all His benefits:

Who forgives all your iniquities,

Who heals all your diseases.

Psalm 103:2-3

Thank You for Your word which says:

He will again have compassion on us,

And will subdue our iniquities.

You will cast all our sins

Into the depths of the sea.

Micah 7:19

Thank You for Your word which says: The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

Thank You for Your word which says: Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence . For that is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Jesus Christ, who gave Himself a ransom for all to be testified in due time. 1 Timothy 2:1-6

We lift up all our loved ones today and all those You have brought into our lives and we hold on to these promises for them. Thank You  for the assurance that, as we speak Your word, Your host of angels are going out even now to perform Your word and minister to these people  because Your word says:

Bless the LORD, you His angels,

Who excel in strength, who do His word,

Heeding the voice of His word.

Bless the LORD, all His hosts,

You ministers of His, who do His pleasure.

Psalm 103:20-21

Be it unto us according to Your word. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen
