God's Thoughts Towards Us

For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace* and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope**. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and you will find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you says the LORD, and I will bring you back from your captivity.  Jeremiah 29:11-10

Father in heaven, we praise and worship You for all that You have given us, all that You are doing for and in us, through Your Son Jesus Christ. He is the manifestation of Your thoughts toward us, the exact expression of Your character. He is the cord that connects us back to You. He is the One who has brought us back from the captivity of sin.

Thank You that, whatever we have done or neglected to do, there is now no condemnation because we are in Christ Jesus.

Thank You that, because we are in Him, all Your promises are Yes and Amen.

Thank You that He was made poor that we may become rich in Him. Thank You that we have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Him. Thank You for the riches of grace and mercy we have in Him

Thank You that Jesus took all our sickness and by His stripes we are healed.

Thank You that He not only delivers us from the penalty of sin, but from the power of sin. We look away from ourselves, our condition and failings, and turn our eyes to Jesus, trusting that He will do in us what we cannot do ourselves.

We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen
