God In Our Midst

The LORD your God in your midst,

The Mighty One, will save;

He will rejoice over you with gladness,

He will quiet you with His love,

He will rejoice over you with singing.

Zephaniah 3:17

Father in heaven, we praise and worship You as our Creator and Redeemer. How thankful we are that You are not a distant Father. We rest in the thought that You are present in whatever situations we are in the midst of at present. Our walls – the things which seem to hinder and frustrate our progress – are continually before You. Perhaps the very walls, which we can’t get over, through or around, are actually a hedge of protection from You.

Thank You that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Thank You for Your promise that You will NEVER forget us, leave us nor forsake us. Thank You that You are our God helping us, strengthening us and upholding us through the righteousness and nail pierced hands of Jesus, our Immanuel. We rest in all that He has done, is doing and will do for us.

In His name we pray. Amen

 Supporting Verses

But Zion said, “The LORD has forsaken me,

And my Lord has forgotten me.”

Can a woman forget her nursing child,

And not have compassion on the son of her womb?

Surely they may forget,

Yet I will not forget you.

See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands;

Your walls are continually before Me.

Isaiah 49:14-16

God is our refuge and strength,

A very present help in trouble.

Psalm 46:1

Fear not, for I am with you;

Be not dismayed, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you,

Yes, I will help you,

I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

Isaiah 41:10

Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Sow we may boldly say:

“The LORD is my helper;

I will not fear.

What can man do to me?”

Hebrews 13:5-6

Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immauel, which is translated, “God with us.” Matthew 1:23
