Watch, Stand Fast in the Faith

Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.
Let all that you do be done in love.
1 Corinthians 16:12

Father in heaven, if ever there is a time when we need these words from You, it is now. The whole world is in turmoil with COVID. Lies and confusion abound. Personal freedoms are threatened.

Families are divided – some members threatening other members that they will never see them unless they are vaccinated. Teach us how to respond to people in love.

We need to know for ourselves, individually, the truth. The truth about the spiritual battle going on behind the scenes. The truth about any risks the vaccines hold to make informed choices. The truth about future events as revealed in Your word.  The truth that Jesus is coming back soon to end sin and this craziness.

You have promised that truth will spring out of the earth (Psalm 85:11) and it is Your desire that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). We hold on to those promises. Flood the world with truth. Flood the world with the knowledge of salvation in Jesus – all that He has done, is doing and will do for those who accept Him as their Saviour.

Thank You that during these uncertain and troubled times we have an Advocate with You -Jesus Christ the righteous. Thank You that Jesus Himself is our peace.

Be it unto us according to Your word. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.
John 14:1-4

I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
John 14:6

If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper,* that He may abide with you forever – the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. John 14:15-18
