THE FIRST WAR IN THE UNIVERSE

Now exalting himself above heaven, the life centre of the universe, Lucifer rallies his dark force and makes war upon God’s universal government. But marshalling His loyal angels, the Son of God overcomes the dark side, and casts the evil foe from their heavenly abode.

Cast out into his own realm of darkness, Lucifer’s fallen life grows more and more with evil. Now Lucifer is known as Satan and the devil, while his confederate force of fallen angels take the form of demonic spirits, know as demons and devils.

⁷And war broke out in heaven: Michael (Son of God ) and his angels fought with the dragon; (Lucifer) and the dragon and his angels fought, ⁸but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. Revelation 12:7–8 (NKJV)

 ⁹So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Revelation 12:9 (NKJV)

¹²Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” Revelation 12:12 (NKJV)

⁸Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8
